The stones in this section of the wall are slightly more irregular in shape and have a more subtle range of colours.
I really like this pink stone in this section of the wall.
This section has had ivy creeping over it at some time and some of the roots and stems are left behind, which makes for an interesting texture.
The moss and lichen on this section are adding some interesting shades of yellow and green to the mix.
I took some rubbings on black tissue paper using a white oil pastel. I feel the first image has by far the strongest lines.
